re: tipping as spammy Most people "tip" with replies because - it's not coming out of their pocket; it's from a (marketing) allocation for a token to gain attention - use it or lose it mechanics that create urgency (and drive action) - the price of the token is purely speculative Tipping with Warps is the opposite of all of these and (imo) has the best UX bar none because when receiving it feels the most intentional and honest. Getting tipped in 4-5 digit degen still feels good because it's perceivably "valuable" as long as the price of degen holds until claiming day. Getting tipped in other tokens I don't follow feels like a cheap flyer being dropped on my cast that others may see. I don't even know how to claim these tips and I can't be bothered to check unless the price somehow skyrockets (it won't) https://warpcast.com/sdv.eth/0x1328d150

I like warps tips, especially because they are microtips by default and I’m a believer in that concept. But my only issue with warps is there’s no cash-out, which makes it feel a bit Starbucks points-like, and crypto is supposed to offer us better alternatives to that model. I would personally prefer the same model, but with real crypto, but I recognize that this won’t be popular to tip 0.10 USDC until we get to 10ths or even hundreds of cents network frees

I imagine cashing out is a no go due to app store rules. I personally don't mind it if I have more incentives to use warps within the ecosystem beyond hosting channels. Minting with warps felt good at first when it was a novel experience but now doesn't seem worth it considering the added overhead costs.

I thought the same but I think warps will be more usable in future.
