If we had an opt-in "read receipt" mode, a la Instagram Stories or group chats, for casts, would you turn it on?

I’m always in favour of opt-in rather than opt-out. I don’t think too much about read receipts. Kind of like them as long as no one involved ascribes any assumptions to a lack of response. To me that same set of assumptions can come alongside a long pause with no read receipt. It’s behaviour/compulsion issue imo

Just realizing I misunderstood the question. Would I personally turn it on? Probably for people I follow but not for cold pitches.
