Imagine if not only Warpcast was down for an hour but the whole namespace and social graph was down for multiple hours. No thanks

Warpcast going down because the hubs can’t handle the load is inconsequential. Users can use other platforms that integrate the protocol. 

A blockchain going down is a failure at being a blockchain. It’s not bullish, it’s just bad. That’s why it wasn’t chosen. It hasn’t proved itself safe for prod.

That said, I fully support people being able to mint Solana NFTs etc from frames. I’m sure someone can figure out how to make that happen

No I haven’t but it feels possible. If not by correlating a SOL address to an FID, then by using some Solana based service to allow users to attest that it’s their account. ENS supports cross chain resolution where wallets allow for it
