does anyone actually use Mastodon? what is the draw vs. Farcaster or Bluesky?

@thumbsup.eth may but from what I saw it’s hard to enter and not interesting compared to what’s happening here

i can’t figure out their algorithm. seems like such a chore to find interesting content.

Mastodon:
I don’t think there is an algorithm at all. It’s just posts from people you follow, reverse chronologically. 

I enjoy some of the niche groups there, like Linux, gaming, and sci-fi nerdery. For whatever topic you find interesting I suggest searching hashtags. 

Bluesky: 

I find lots of great stuff. Use feeds which are like channels/hashtags. Discover and what’s got, or liked by friends can be interesting too. If you liked tweet deck, check out deck blue.
