How many people actually reach out and ask how you‘re doing?

Everytime I stop asking folks to just see who‘d reach out themselves it’s an interesting experiment

Back in school if you missed days you got letters, calls, messages.

Out of school -> „adults“ don’t seem to care?

Maybe part of why people are calling a loneliness epidemic? Darn it just ask people how they are doing and check in.

i reach out to ppl on the fly, even if it's been years, if a memory i appreciate comes across my mind.

what's funny is that not only do ppl not do what u say, but also get skeptical/defensive when they do receive said check in. ppl are very static in who/what circumstance constitutes a friendship
