Then on the working with them…the worst of it was mistreatment: CEOs that freaked out because their fathers told them people without PhDs are worthless. I’ve completed coding challenges with decryption algorithms just to submit my resume (only to be rejected immediately because I had too much experience)

In the end, I hated working with YC. I’ve raised capital myself through government grants (about 2M$ in total) for work on AI in Medicine, and in Government. Waited for 8 months to get paid, and still preferred granting.
