Can Onchain ticketing replace ticketmaster? I hope onchain ticketing disrupts ticketsmaster and cuts out the middlemen. Securing a ticket for a concert has become a major source of frustration for fans, fake tickets, tickets vanishing in seconds, service fees that often surpass the face value of the ticket, scalpers etc. I am conviced that onchain ticketing can solve the current issues in the ticketing industry.

Excited for the OPEN-Azerion partnership that passed the DAO vote last week. There's a large mix of NL/BE/US/PT/SK football clubs 👀 Following the integration of ticket-linked onchain collectibles and collectible packs, Azerion builds them in a Season Collectible Book as part of their Fanzone app. This book shows all games in the season as collectible outlines which then fill up for each game attended or by buying packs in app. The more games attended or packs purchased, the fuller the book becomes. Each collectible will show players from the team, blending both player cards with game information such as the score, opponent, date, and location. Collectibles will also come complete with different rarities, adding scarcity to the cards collected by users.

I don’t know what normies want more and what I’m excited for more. What do you think: Web3 ticketing with everything on blockchain or just web3 collectibles with every ticket. I think they both have their pros and cons…
