we do not want the state running validators. Well I guess technically the fed is a private institution but not really. fuck that shit IMHO.

I agree with the sentiment, but (i) what anyone wants doesn’t matter on a permissionless chain, and (ii) if we agree that the next dollarization battle lines will be onchain, then that’s where Uncle Sam needs to be to promote the use of USD-denominated stablecoins on the largest DeFi infrastructure ever built (Ethereum)
