Juicy tip (up to a reasonable limit) to whomever can fairly summarize $farther's launch, historic changes, recent tweaks, and today's capitulation. Not fishing or dishing. Just the facts please. (I don't follow further) Also GM and happy Monday 🍿🌞

GM wake - You had me at Juicy. I think people have already gone through the situation pretty well. I joined a bit later the tipping game, but did the twitter posting and they cancelled it so I thought that was a bit strange. I bought the tokens when they were worth a lot more, but I guess it's all a gamble anyway. They started changing the tipping rules throughout the seasons, which made me sell all mine last week because I saw no value in it anymore.

can you open up that last bit? what about the tipping rule changes made you disinvest so aggressively? also curious on your take as an artist participant. everyone else is tacitly griping about price action.

they would not allow any art in the main feed — only art from 2-3 names. the artists were really disappointed. the tipping rules were even worse. Not being able to tip a person twice or you could not tip a person that tipped you. so then if you did — you lost those tokens (maybe the point to have a ton of overflow - pretty dishonest), but also so annoying. no one could remember the rules from one week to the next

yeah, the main feed -- was limited to a very, very select few -- others were blocked. here's one post showing the frustration: https://warpcast.com/gulyildiz/0xef745aa2

what value was there in the main feed? did it receive enough views, on average, for it to be a value-add? or did it produce reliable conversions for artists, if not publicity? my guess is no, it wasn't viewed often by converting users.

i mean, i’m not fully sure if there was a monetary value put on that main feed, but i do know that blocking good people/artists from it, pushed them to not partake in the channel (myself included) therefore adding to the crickets. for example - i have met so many incredible and lifelong friends in the /superrare channel — all from sharing our art. that could have flowed over to any channel that welcomes artists. i mean, not talking about low effort art tho. has to be moderated the superrare channel, i think does quite well and that is all surrounding its artists, the sharing of art and some really great convos that come out of it sorry that took a moment - at airport
