I only learned to truly appreciate the color blue not too long ago, and since then, I’ve loved observing it in works like yours. As for red, it has always been my favorite color since I was a child, so this piece resonates with me deeply. 3900 $degen

thank u so much! its funny you say that! for YEARS i only painted w reds, blacks and once in a while some greens (in a certain series), but i would create in mostly the warm colors. blue were out of the question as that is a more recent endeavor, lets say in the past 5 years. i would never use black bc it muddies real paintings unless i was using the old master's palette (red, yellow, black & white) which def excludes cobalt. one of my favorite paintings, 'limbo' is from this old masters palette -- it was the first painting i did in acrylics....its much cooler in person, but the texture from all the layered scumbling is pretty cool :)

Brilliant, I don’t know the name of this artwork or what you wanted to convey, but I feel there’s solitude and maybe even someone who has suffered because their skin is raw and torn, as if their body is burning or completely scratched.
