ICQ was how I outsourced graphic design to Russians in 2001 as a 16 year old web designer 🧑‍🎨

Oh man that brought up some feels. 

I felt like I discovered my place in the world on ICQ. Growing up in a rural wasteland of culture and diversity, it provided both escape and opportunity. A path to becoming more than otherwise seemed possible.
