If you were BDFOWF, what would you have us work on? 

BDFOWF = benevolent dictator for one warpcast feature

Already on the list but lower priority for now:
- Pinned casts on user profiles
- Better image support
- GIF keyboard in app

Videos for everyone. It being restricted to power badges only limits new artists who use that format for their art. 

I hear it as a regular complaint from non PB but genuine users.

Can't do it without hiring a massive moderation team. Significant liability for uploading illegal content.

We've given video access to a lot of people and minimal engagement tbh

Your team doesn’t know the artist community, but we do. You need to decentralize more and not play the dictator if you want our user numbers to go up. You’re actively holding artists hostage by your centralized system that discourages artists from fully utilizing this app

Re 1: I’m looking forward to “choose your own filter” for the protocol (and I guess there are several clients already). I do agree with Dan at least that Warpcast has to take their own filtering approach.

Re 2: What makes it prohibitively bad to have to post videos elsewhere then share them here?

some great video artists don’t have the ability to cast their video art. This is bc the ability to upload videos is tied to the power badges system that i view as a flawed mechanism. why not: 1. Experiment with @openrank  system for power badges.
2. Separate the video upload privilege from PB
