Videos for everyone. It being restricted to power badges only limits new artists who use that format for their art. I hear it as a regular complaint from non PB but genuine users.

Can't do it without hiring a massive moderation team. Significant liability for uploading illegal content. We've given video access to a lot of people and minimal engagement tbh

I understand this, but have been seeing a good number of quality casters who don't have a power badge. Maybe there's some room for improvement in the power badge criteria so that more talented artists can post videos.

Will we only get video only when farcaster is fully decentralized? so govt couldn’t go after you But I guess you’d have to hire moderators purely for warpcast or not support video at all

also Illegal content tomorrow can ve sharing info about Trump, would warpcast shut it down in that case same way twitter or facebook would? I guess there’s no way around it at the current state of things.

Your team doesn’t know the artist community, but we do. You need to decentralize more and not play the dictator if you want our user numbers to go up. You’re actively holding artists hostage by your centralized system that discourages artists from fully utilizing this app

Just curious, how would video content moderation differ from moderating photo content? Why does video content need a massive moderation team, while photos or even written content don’t require that?

let the art community police itself by having channel mods of the art channels involved in this. The centralized system is what is causing issues. we did this back in 2017 steemit days

I think now is the age of AI and various bots that could moderate content. In our situation, I also wouldn’t refuse to upload the video to warpcast, I think at first a form would be suitable for submitting a video for uploading by one account or another

I am one of the people who could really benefit from posting progress and final footage of completed projects I have build as a CNC fabricator and was wondering if moderation is an issue, could video upload be moderated using some sort of AI tech that checks for illegal content? Thank you!

I do not have technical knowledge in this regard, but is it not possible to use artificial intelligence to analyze the content of the videos and and available for public view after the content approve? In this case, there may be a delay of a few seconds or a little more between casting and public display.
