... innovation that was just not possible on social media beforehand? Both answers feel inadequate. Farcaster has been attracting retentive users for a while. And Facebook invented the OpenGraph tags that enabled Frames!

there is no better marketing than making people money and $degen has done just that that said, the experience of a (STABLE!) twitter/reddit-like platform with baked in on-chain experiences has been incredibly compelling to experience! (as a new farcaster user)

imho a big part of Frames' success is because of its versatility and the urgent need for web3 teams to have distribution + survive. Frames not only enables founders/builders to have an interactive, relatively frictionless user/value capture funnel, it also serves as a complementary product offering for B2B builders.
