Most likely. Have you watched arrival? It was used in the scene Hannah died, it was also used in a scene in the last of us series but I can’t remember which

I have watched Arrival, at least twice 🤔 but I don't think it's from that movie

Much more recently I watched something else, pretty random, and this was in the soundtrack; I looked it up for the first time (almost bought the disc, actually)

I do think it's a "fashionable" piece for soundtracks. Do you have other suggestions for Richter?
