what's the most important thing you wish you knew when you started designing? And what鈥檚 the best way to approach a new design design project

not everyone should be trusted. don鈥檛 be afraid of increasing prices AND don鈥檛 promise stuff you can鈥檛 do. a client will be more happy when you deliver less BEFORE the deadline than if you deliver more AFTER the deadline. Best approach is to draw sketch procrastinate (part of the process)

hmmm maybe i didn鈥檛 express correctly but in my experience i only use 30% of the time I request to effectively design. I鈥檇 say 40%-50% is procrastinating, trying to activate my creative side with video games, sports, painting and other stuff. I can also use 70% of the time for that, but i鈥檇 only be using the chair for a longer time, since creativity isn鈥檛 always around. Ofc big projects don鈥檛 allow procrastination and one should only do it if it fits the time schedule. I鈥檇 never risk going over the deadline.

I understand better now. I鈥檓 like this too, getting in the creative groove can be difficult sometimes and most times I get inspirations from the most random things

this is why i say procrastinating is important. you need randomness!! if we stay in front of the screen all day this won鈥檛 give us more inspiration sources. what are you designing?

do you use canva? sometimes browsing through their layouts is a good starting point. as of logos, nothing works better than pen and pencil, @antimofm.eth can agree to that
