Existing systems never fail to remind me of the value of sufficiently decentralised systems like @farcaster Started a ig page for a fun project with a friend. Didn’t do anything against the ToS but got suspended without warning and no real explanation. Was able to appeal and get it fixed but still, kinda scary to know that this could happen to anyone at anytime.

These issues happen all the time. Luckily you were able to get your account back. The A.i that is used to flag accounts are faulty and should be peer reviewed by a human. Some sites like Discord don’t even take a second look.

"sufficiently decentralised", my comments are hidden on Warpcast, there is no appeals process. It's all just swings and roundabouts.

Don't you just love when someone, or an automated system, can simply ruin your account because they don't like it 😭 I bet you'll get the boiler plate or vague response of "You have violated our terms of service" and that's all 🤦♂️
