Reading discussions on SOL vs ETH happening on the bird app has made one thing clear. The main issue in most SOL vs ETH discussions is that most parties don't have a deep enough understanding of the opposing ecosystem. Or even if there is sufficiently deep understanding, there's a difference in opinion on what's the right conclusion/path forward. So there's just endless back and fourth since neither party will agree given that difference in opinion. It's totally ok to agree to disagree and appreciate the trade-offs of each approach. Another thing that pops up in the broader discussion is how people tend to get emotional and start throwing personal shots. Leading to more shots being thrown by the other party and a lower quality of discussion. No idea why people can't just express their views without name-calling or putting others down.

The beauty of technology and crypto is that we are all free to build and contribute to the vision that we most align with and the path that we think has the best odds of taking us there. There might be only one way to get there or there might be multiple. Who really knows? Ultimately, we’re all working to make the world a better place. That’s the thread that ties us all together.
