the reality: tipping and social engagement tokens are consistently and ruthlessly gamed by noise generating farmers who don’t give a fuck about the creator economy. 

and their bullshit drowns out the creators.

I don’t think tipping is perfect…but I think it’s in the direction of the truth. For me, it simple…reward ppl for value that they’ve added to your day; sometimes it’s art sometimes it’s ideas.
