Hey, as a Basketball fan I particularly like the idea of the proposal, but it has some problems like... The high cost of the proposal $380k which represents almost 4% of our treasury, and I'm not sure if there's enough justification for this amount. There don’t seem to be any ongoing plans after these events. There’s no plausible justification for receiving 5 Nouns that will be transferred to "Cares," which would make Cares a bigger voting hub than Lil Nouns (who actually bought their Nouns). There’s no guarantee that players, teams, and fans will actually engage with the DAO after receiving delegated Nouns. There was once a project involving basketball called "NounBA" which has now been abandoned due to poor execution. I’d be willing to bet my life savings that the none of the NBA players interact with nouns. This happens time and time again — flashy prop, which will “onboard celebs”, then nothing happens Highly recommend an against vote here

While I do agree with some of ur points made, using this to compare doesn’t really make sense. Yes it’s basketball related but it was created by community members for community members as a way to play fantasy basketball, which they did do. The only thing similar about NounBA and this prop is that they both have a round orange ball involved.

No, on the contrary, my objective was not to compare... it was just to show a project that involved basketball and that didn't work out.

I’m not defending this prop at all. As it stands, I’ll likely vote against. But trying to say that one thing didn’t work out so other basketball stuff isn’t good either is too much of a blanket statement

I'm not 100% in favor of this proposal, but I'm not 100% against it either. I just pointed out some of the problems that I think exist NounBA was just an example of a project that could have been more successful if it had been more elaborate
