To prove it, I broke down the costs:

For a $1,000 transaction using a credit card:

- Merchant pays 2.9% = $29
- Fixed fee = $0.30
- Total credit card fee = $29.30

Yeah or try to transfer a lot of money to say Sri Lanka or Phillipines or something.. It will take a week and cost you 100’s of Dollars..
