For a $1,000 transaction using USDC on L2 like Base:

- Merchant pays $0
- Payee pays $0.07

That's 99.7% cheaper. 🔥

He was stunned.

So, if someone tells you crypto has no real use cases in 2024, they've clearly never made a payment using it. 😎

To prove it, I broke down the costs:

For a $1,000 transaction using a credit card:

- Merchant pays 2.9% = $29
- Fixed fee = $0.30
- Total credit card fee = $29.30
