Massive L if true (500 is a very large smb as has been said). But there’s hope. “There was a sense that the key to progress was ever-larger corporations, that if we let companies get bigger they would be more efficient, they would generate all these benefits” [this kind of wanders, so I might think on it and get it down tight] My first thought was that this seems easily debunkable by now, a relic of modernist hubris. But it’s not as clear as cultures & economies shifted online and expensive technology enabled large firms to concentrate power. The hope though, is that Small makes a comeback using Big’s playbook: technology-enabled concentration around niche solutions.
