a common theme across the 50+ interviews we've done in the last 10 days is that it is HARD for new users to get started, know where to cast, find their footing and like-minded people. starter packs, /gmfarcaster, FC newsletters, and finding a "onboarding buddy" help — what else? what needs to be better? how?

I think that a while back, someone had a cast about having an "onboarding buddy" as in when you onboard someone you take a couple weeks or a month to show them around, and everyone I've onboarded so far, I've done this, but at one point it gets hard, and of course no official way to implement this without it seeming like a kindergarten, but maybe more people who onboard their friends should do this what do you think?

yeah there is an unfair advantage to having an "onboarding buddy" or "onboarding group" i know several people joined hypersubs to become part of a group to make onboarding to warpcast easier. i know CLUB TED somewhat worked in this way. i don't think we have anything like this built in the warpcast experience.
