Ha ha ha… or ever again? I had no idea a shark this size would swim in water that shallow.

do you think the shark got hungry and was hunting in shallow waters cuz of that?

So, there was a dead fish on the sand and the shark kept circling and coming back to one set of rocks right at the water’s edge (at one point, it was half in a wave and half out of the wave, swimming toward me, got washed up on the sand and had to kick its tail to get back into the water… and I was stuck in between shooting videos and stills, and couldn’t react fast enough to document it).

My suspicion is that a spear fisherman maybe lost a stringer of fish, and it had washed into/got tangled on those rocks?

However, I saw it a second time on Kauai, and the shark basically swam between people (who were completely unaware of the shark) that were standing in knee deep water.

So not really sure how to explain the behavior.
