petition to make analogue photography accessible again 🙂‍↕️

when i was in middle school, we had a photography class and even our own darkroom. this was one of the bright spots of that tumultuous time of life. i had a wonderful art teacher; i will never forget her. she was batshit crazy and definitely huffed too many paint fumes in her day, but i learned so much from her, both about painting and photography. i loved the process of developing my own film so much. 

sadly, i moved after middle school and my new district didn’t have funding for initiatives like that. and so, that little passion of mine slowly suffocated from lack of air—but i remember those days fondly. film photography still feels a little bit like magic.

i have a makeshift darkroom in my basement. chemicals and paper are getting super expensive though.

I still have all the equipment piled up somewhere... need to take them out and build a dark room... I love love love. that process so much. like @tinyrainboot mentioned
