Yes at least in the web3 space most big brands already own their ens, so it would solve the issue in the near term but agree it's just kicking the can down the road when tradfi orgs like Disney etc might also want their own channel

Maybe I'm missing something but why couldnt @dwr.eth simply give channels based on ENS names ? That way he can go to squatters and request they relinquish channels not becoz he's asking them to but becoz another party holds the ENS corresponding to the channel

But you have to buy proprietary software (Microsoft office) to use .docx Whereas Google doc is available to anyone with internet, much more open

Most decentralizated DAOs would rather fund experiments than business opportunities So if you're drafting a DAO proposal, dont have single vendor lock in & keep the tone of a truthseeker, saying we aren't sure which solution is the right one so let's fund 2-3 and then look at the data on which was most effectivf

Something that's unmentioned in the article is how unsafe roll-ups are for assets minted natively on the L2 We've made it seem like scaling and cost is all solved with L2s, but consumer apps should be made more aware that they don't inherit ethereums security unless they bridge from the L1
