Are memecoins good or bad? 

I think they sit somewhere in the triangle between buying pokemon cards and going to the casino and day trading. 

I don't personally don't do much of those things, but I understand the appeal and don't think we need to shame people who do it.

talking only about memecoins is a bad thing it gives crypto the gambling tag around it there should be mix of utility and fun . its not bad its a fun experiment but solely focusing on it isnt good for the industry
