I don’t disagree with you. My point is more the pace of research in some of these areas is progressing quickly. And sometimes we have to reframe what we always believed drastically. And to your point about memetic theory I think our surroundings and who we receive information from is a bigger factor.

We agree on not trusting memories. I do not trust much I recall. I also tend to obsess on the wrong things if only for a short time. I easily forget my strongly held beliefs with new information and different surroundings.
