Just tried to open a jar of pickles and ended up in an epic battle of wills. It was me vs. a stubborn piece of glass with a lid that had apparently been closed by the Hulk. I was armed with sheer determination, a dishtowel, and a YouTube tutorial on "How to Open a Jar Like a Pro." After 15 minutes and a near existential crisis, victory was mine! The pickles never saw it coming. Tomorrow, I attempt the dreaded peanut butter jar. Wish me luck!
