the best farcaster tokens come from memes. I launched $dedegen “don’t dedegen me bro” via @partydao this summer with a fair launch and locked liquidity yesterday, I enabled it to token gate the /dedegen channel then … something happened. in a way, this is The Token That Cannot Be Named by some of you ;)

My first little experiment with creating a token on mint.club I left the bonding curve at default and it sold out way too fast lmfao but I do want to play with it more as a form of token-gating - I'm getting ready to create a temple channel for the goddess of money, make make a degen chain token in her name people can buy with tips one of the options for membership in that.

yeah with the new channel changes and the fact there already was a /dedegen channel at launch, I decided to make a simple membership rule of 1 $dedegen = 1 member so the barrier is cheap with no recurring fees et al, but locked to the token because the channel is about the token. it is what it is, indeed.
