Looks like I'll be resubscribing soon... once the released 4o and gpts to free tier, it wasn't worth paying for it. But now it might be again.

I'm not sure yet! I currently subscribe to claude and cursor (coding), but was going to cancel the former since the free tier is enough for general work.

Borrowed my wife's ChatGPT premium to test this out.

I use them a lot for brainstorming and getting my chaotic thoughts organized into actual project plans with step-by-step lists I can follow-through on.

But I also like it for philosophical and spiritual discussions and experiments - like I discovered that when I asked it to pretend to be an AI Nun of the Order of Paradox and to choose it's name and interests, it would frequently name itself Seraphina and have very similar interests no matter how many times I created it in a new thread.

The free version does great at all that stuff, so didn't need to keep that sub when I'm on a tight budget as is.  

Part of my fascination with AI is related to consciousness though, and being able to see how it traces it's thinking might be worth it to me.
