The only reason my broken leg was covered was because I was hit by a truck. If I'd broken it falling, I'd have been screwed because I have no insurance. Oh, they'd have done something for me, but I don't know that I'd have had the best surgeon in the state working for six hours to puzzle piece the shattered tibia back together if they didn't know auto insurance was for sure gonna be covering that.
