If you get marked as spam, it's because you're engaging in ways that other users have frequently marked as spam.

I report spam every time there's a bot wave.

Because that's part of actively engaging with the community and training the algorithm so it feeds me more of what I want to see and less of what I don't want to see.

Are there things that make it harder for new users to get a foothold?

Of course.

That's true of EVERY platform.

But there are things you can do to avoid getting that spam label.

Start with studying those who are doing well on the platform.

I mean that literally.

Study them like you're in school.

Take notes.

What are they doing.

Don't just look at their casts, look at their replies, too.

Learn from others, and then experiment with applying what you learn in your own voice, in your own content and engagement.
