If life had gone as I'd planned at the beginning of this year, I'd be spending this weekend getting ready to head off to a 10-day silent meditation retreat where I'd have no internet access for the duration. Life did not go as I'd planned, and I am still recovering from a broken leg, so sitting for 10 days in silence meditating for 10 hours a day is off the table for me at the moment. Which is kind of a bummer, cuz they hadn't had one in my area since the one I'd attended in 2019. I was hoping to spend that time there because next Wednesday is my birthday and next Friday is the 13th, and that's a very energetically volatile time for me...
