I think it's damn near impossible to keep your activity private in this connected world of ours. What I don't think is impossible (in fact, quite the opposite) is having more control over how our data is used and getting compensated for the value it helps create. Because it creates a helluva lot of value.

we need to have more options to monetize data that we create. it's already out there, created by us, yet we have little to no control over it, nor do we reap any of rewards.

There are certain names that become a part of the English language. Twitter, tweet, retweet, etc. It's like saying Coca-Cola rebranding to C would be amazing. It wouldn't. It'll always be Coke. Forcing people to use X and reducing reach for using twitter is not the most stable thing to do. But it's his. 🤷‍♂️
