Sharing some photos from my newest project "If Walls Could Talk..."

For this project, I looked to create abstract art by photographing the decayed walls of an abandoned hospital.

This is something new and different for me, so it feels very scary to share these. Any/all feedback is appreciated.🙏

I think this is too cool, Stacey AND it totally fits with your style and motif. I am big fan of odd texture and love photos that make me want to reach out and touch it. Great color and especially love that its faded and maintains that abandonded feel. Post it in the WIP thread on /art-studio

Thanks Dan! We went on a tour at buffalo state hospital, but i explored it once before and toured it once before, so i spent the whole tour (3 hours) finding cool compositions in the walls. I came away with about 30 photos I like. This might become an ongoing project.

Gm! I love this concept, I'm a big texture fan so it is exciting to see different textures created through decay. I would imagine a hard part here is finding the composition you like.

Thanks fren.🤗🤗 Appreciate that. I will have to fiddle with them to see if bnw looks good. I have never been a good bnw shooter. I have so much respect for people who are skilled bnw shooters. I have to say, the colours of these are what draw me to them though. But I'll still explore and see what happens.🙃

May be you can try black and white with high contrast? There won't be color distraction! Just a thought though!
