do you believe in Vodou magic? the weather is hot and cold at the same time, been raining literally everywhere else, except here my mum says it’s because someone did traditional magic to hold off the rain so the road workers can finish construction in peace. honestly? makes more sense than anything I’ve seen on the weather app

i believe o. i've lived here for almost 4 years and it's quite normal. today's a good example. today's a market day. it was cold and dark this morning. you know how clouds would gather and you can bet your intestines that a storm is coming? that was this morning. less than 3 hours later, it's bright and sunny asf. it's a given here. rain doesn't fall on market days.
