My wife and I are travelled (active vacation wins; ocean is a must, for swimming, SUP, and surfing. +Mountains).

Where would you go for ~1 month or more, from late Nov to Dec? Where have you gone that you wholeheartedly recommend?

Ideal range $4K-$10K flights and stay.

Specific places? Always wanted to go; don’t know where to start.

I would recommend Split, right on the coast, nice people, good food. Dubrovnik is south and is rich of history but touristy as it was Kings Landing in game of thrones - still a spot I recommend however
