Oof. Talk about formative literature. I'm going to have to read this again before release. I'm afraid of how many decades it's been.

Of course when I read Foundation again before the show I realized I now think it's absolute trash. I don't expect the same from Neuro, but I'm AFRAID.

Yeah, I kind of fell out of love with SF quite a while ago and the books I've gone back to haven't held up like I wanted to. Except maybe Dragon's Egg.

Actually I was never much of a fan of Asimov as a writer, but his Robot stories kind of destroyed me. And the I devoured IASFM every month like a fiend. But most of the stories in there weren't by him, so...

Sacrilege!  How dare you besmirch Asimov!  I highly recommend William Gibson’s “Pattern Recognition” if you want one of his more modern stories!
