Yep. They are trying to follow the Israel playbook (re: any criticism of state policy or actions = antisemitism). But Israel has a legit a very real history (and present) of hatred against Jews they can exploit for dubious political gains for the crimes of their political state. 

Russia, on the other hand, does not.

lol russians have been trying so hard to make the word “russophobia” happen for years, hoping that if there’s a label for it, people will start being afraid to criticize them. It’s actually pretty interesting to observe these kinds of things in their inception, how terms get made up or co-opted, and how language is used for propaganda purposes.
