User data in Humanity Protocol is encrypted directly on the device, using quantum-resistant symmetric encryption. These private keys are securely stored across decentralized nodes, ensuring that only users have control. For access recovery, keys are kept in decentralized storage. Encrypted user data is broken down and distributed across decentralized servers, preventing any single entity from gaining full control. Off-chain storage safeguards users' rights, with content IDs accessible via Humanity Protocol's data and identity oracles.

We chose palm data for several reasons. First and foremost, palm scans offer a high degree of accuracy due to the unique patterns of lines and veins each individual’s palm contains. These patterns provide a rich dataset that ensures precise identification, reducing the risk of false matches. Secondly, palm recognition technology is less invasive and preserves more privacy compared to facial recognition or iris scans. These methods can often feel intrusive as they involve parts of the body more directly linked to personal identity. In contrast, using the palm is discreet and non-intrusive, making it much more acceptable. Lastly, palm scans can be performed with existing hardware, such as a standard smartphone camera, making it more accessible and easier to deploy on a large scale without requiring specialized equipment.

Fantastic question. Inclusivity and accessibility were cornerstone principles in the development of the Humanity Protocol. To ensure we reach as many people as possible, we decided to implement a mobile phone-based initiative. By implementing a mobile phone-based initiative, we leverage the global reach of over 7 billion smartphones. This way we can provide a secure, user-friendly, and privacy-preserving solution for human verification, regardless of geographical or economic barriers.

Not at all! Humanity Protocol is designed to be cross-chain compatible, which means it's equipped to integrate seamlessly with projects from various blockchains. Our aim is to foster a broad, inclusive ecosystem where diverse blockchain projects can leverage our cutting-edge identity verification technology. Whether you're on Ethereum or any other blockchain, integrating with HP is streamlined to ensure that your project can easily utilize our unique-human authentication mechanisms. So, bringing your project into our ecosystem can open up new possibilities for user engagement and expand your reach in the digital space.

3- Token Utility: The token utility within Humanity Protocol supports a multifaceted ecosystem with tapered supply and sustained demand growth. Other projects typically use their tokens for a singular purpose, such as universal basic income, leading to sustained supply growth without addressing broader ecosystem needs. 4- Global Accessibility: Our onboarding process is designed to be highly accessible globally, without the need for location-specific hardware, which can be a barrier to participation and re-verification in other projects. 5- Versatile Use Cases: Provides diverse human verification applications for Layer 3 solutions and dApps across industries, while others are limited to single, centralized applications.

Humanity Protocol stands out in several key ways: 1- Open Ecosystem: Unlike other projects that are semi-open at best, Humanity Protocol is designed as a truly open ecosystem, encouraging widespread third-party development and integration. 2- Non-Invasive Technology: Our non-invasive palm print scanning technology ensures self-sovereignty and on-chain privacy-preserving data storage. In contrast, other projects often rely on invasive biometric scanning technologies, which raise significant concerns about data collection and privacy protection.

Palm print verification ensures that each account is unique and corresponds to a real human being, leveraging biometric data while preserving user privacy. By using the Humanity Protocol, systems or dApps can ensure that only verified human users access their services. This effectively prevents Sybil attacks, as each verified account corresponds to a unique individual, making it impossible for a single entity to create multiple fake accounts.

Humanity Protocol can attest that a certain account is owned by a human through our innovative palm print verification technology. This method allows us to confirm the human ownership of an account without needing to know the specific identity of the individual.

We're the ones making sure that Web3 is owned by humans, and not bots. Besides the fact that we're finally giving the ultimate solution for DID to the space, we're also charting new paths to web3 with new novel applications.
