I just learned there is an auction for my fan tokens rn. 

How do these fan token auctions work?

Do people bid for 1 token? If so, what's the supply?

With this reply you'll get some moxie but to the point. 

1. You enter the number of FT of a person or channel you want to buy. 

2. You enter your bid then. Basically how much moxie you want to place per one FT.

3. The supply is the total amount of FT's people have placed bids on. 

4. The clearing price is the average of all the bids placed. 

5. If your bid is higher than the clearing price, you get the FT's (your total bid / clearing price)

6. Of your bid is lower than the clearing price, you get your moxie tokens back, and can bid for someone else's FT's

I think you first enter your bid price (the max price you're willing to buy fan tokens for), and then the amount of MOXIE you're willing to spend in total.

The amount of tokens that you get is calculated by dividing the second number (amount of MOXIE you're willing to spend) with the clearing bid price (the lowest bid issued under the condition your max bid is higher than the clearing price).
