I will tell you at the end of this week. On my Neovim editor, in general, all closing pairs are done by the editor, so I don't usually use them. But when I need to, I don't want to learn a new key so the double tap dance could be perfect on the same key. I'll keep you posted on how it goes this week. I'm also testing the home row mods—lots to learn this week.

how do you feel about tap dance in general? i assume you're doing single-tap for the opening brackets and double-tap for the closing brackets?

i felt like tap dance really slowed me down (skill issue), and i probably needed to tweak some settings to make it work better for me
