How do you usually handle numbers? I code only in Neovim, and I have two ways: on layer 1, numbers are on the top row, and on layer 2, they are on my right hand like in a numpad. I find myself switching between the two because of my old habits of standard keyboards and because I still tend to wake up my hand a lot. What's your solution?

i got a Lily58 specifically for the number row, but I ended up building independent tenkey layers for each hand, and i'm using the tenkeys nearly 100% of the time now, even when the number row is available. not having a number row for 3 months was all it took to really solidify that muscle memory. my hands don't seem interested in going back, even though i just built two whole keyboards so that they could.
