just bought 6 additional units of storage via caststorage.com (cheers, @sammdec.eth), let's see if that keeps me good on the replies 😆 so does this mean, what's pruned is never pruned? or, is what's pruned already gone for good?

In principle the system has been designed to prune stuff by default so there's a max that can be reached. Hubs on Farcaster have a limitation on the size of the delta graph (64TB). This graph size has been limited to removing old post. I guess by paying you're ensuring that your deltas will not be deleted.
