re: IP protection every art is a derived from subconscious/conscious duplication of existing elements. there is 0 exception - be it art, music, product, technology, and beyond. i create art myself, but don't really care if someone remixes it because i too have remixed someone else's directly/indirectly.

Since you see creativity as a mix of old ideas, how do you tell when you’re being inspired versus just copying someone else? And how do you keep your work feeling original while still being influenced by others?
