Hi everyone, I am Javeria. I am a marketer at A51 Finance (an AMM built on Uniswap V4). I am chronically on X and now on Warpcast. I am not a new user since I created a brand account last year but discontinued using it. My interest piqued after I attended a session at ETHDenver by @ted and now I am back. I will be sharing content on marketing in crypto, pictures I take, things I find interesting, and all things about Buenos Aires.

thought dump in lieu of a journal: - if a grocery story is playing mt joy or khruangbin, your wallet is cooked - the rise of clipping farms and AI brainrot will give rise to a new class of human curators (aka people with taste that other people trust for their information diet; we already see this for a) playlists for music and b) newsletters for long-form text content) - “until death, all defeat is psychological” - one of the most incredible features of social media is how it lets us see that everyone’s life is so different and i don’t think we appreciate the beauty of that enough - “loneliness in late adulthood is deadlier than smoking. indeed, once you’re over 65, you’re better off smoking, drinking, and overeating with your friends than you are sitting at home alone.” - as we get older, friendships ebb and flow and relationships don’t always work out. that’s life, but what i find myself missing most (almost viscerally) are the shared routines: morning coffee, sunday dinners, etc.

For Haaretz, I spoke to Anne Applebaum about autocracy, tech oligarchs, and how Trump’s second term could fast-forward the playbook of Orbán and Putin. “What took years in Hungary could now be done in weeks in the U.S.” https://www.haaretz.com/world-news/europe/2025-04-02/ty-article-magazine/.premium/from-trumps-america-to-warsaw-documenting-dying-democracies-decade-by-decade/00000195-d895-d93e-a3df-f9bfe91d0000

the Knight Institute is suing a Texas school district to learn how it's using AI to scan student's messages, searches, and assignments. there’s mounting evidence these tools wrongly flag harmless content, censor race and gender topics, and out students—and the companies behind them have not publicly disclosed how they work. with little transparency and no independent proof that it works, critics warn these tools may do more harm than good—silencing students instead of protecting them. https://www.teenvogue.com/story/school-surveillance-student-privacy-knight-foundation-lawsuit
