What are you frustrated with re: Farcaster? I won't argue with you -- will just ask clarifying questions. Will address the top issues in a cast tomorrow or Monday.

My biggest concern has been a Base monoculture. I get the initial cohort of users are all coinbase alum, but we really need become chain-agnostic imo. Yes, bringing in more solana users, but also other chains. Perhaps collaborating with other chains for hackathons or whatever.

> I get the initial cohort of users are all coinbase alum What makes you think this?

fwiw i think the major feedback here is base monoculture and the "initial cohort coinbase alum" is a bit of a side quest. have gotten that feedback from a lot of non- or inactive users, that it feels like farcaster is for base. not sure if that's what you're getting at @chasesommer?

What other EVM chains have active ecosystems of consumer builders? Genuine question.

chains that have visible, tangible communities on CT: Berachain, Monad, BNB, MegaETH, SEI, Aptos. even if they're in testnet or mostly Asia or EU based, there are existing communities. and if you're on CT, you get exposed to all of these. if you're on FC, you get exposed to Base. the delta is clearly felt.

But what are the apps? Base <> Farcaster is because of the mini apps.
