harder to do large friend / group trip in a luxury hotel. a luxury hotel suite  is much more expensive than an airbnb.

i mean... just stick to the luxury hotels then? price will be the same but the level of service will be better or at least similar—i.e. i'm sure all the service providers working with hotels will simply... post at airbnb, too

i think i've used vrbo and booking in the last 4 years like 98% of times vs airbnb

To be fair, most of the fees are for cleaning, which is what the host determines. I’ve seen $400 for a tiny home. Airbnb should restrict cleaning fee amount based on size.

I think it's a step in the right direction. TripAdvisor has been selling experiences for years and they're awesome, bought them dozens of times. But the experience of booking an experience (;)) is bad, so there's tons of room to improve it.

Gen alpha to younger millennials absolutely love experience stuff like this. Idk if that’s just bullish on that market or on Airbnb specifically though
